KINDS of SIN.
Are some sins worse than others?
While the Bible teaches in general that to be guilty of one is to be guilty of all sins, {James 2:10 A man who has kept the Law as a whole, but has failed to keep some, one command, has become guilty of violating all. }it also indicates there are sins of greater degree and sins of lesser degree.

Luk 12:47 And that servant who has been told his Master's will and yet made no preparation and did not obey His will, will receive many lashes.
Luk 12:48 But he who had not been told it and yet did what deserved the scourge, will receive but few lashes. To whomsoever much has been given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been entrusted, of him a larger amount will be demanded.

Various Kinds in the Word of God.
A. Sins of Ignorance.[Ignorance is a state of being uninformed (lack of knowledge Wikipedia.org]
Luk 23:34 Jesus prayed, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they are doing."
Joh 19:11 "You would have had no power whatever over me," replied Jesus, "had it not been granted you from above. On that account he (the wicked Jewish leaders) who has delivered me up to you is more guilty than you are."
Rom 2:12 For all who have sinned apart from the Law will also perish apart from the Law, and all who have sinned whilst living under the Law, will be judged by the Law.
1Ti 1:12 I am thankful to Him who made me strong--even Christ Jesus our Lord--because He has judged me to be faithful and has put me into His service,
1Ti 1:13 though I was previously a blasphemer and a persecutor and had been insolent in outrage. Yet mercy was shown me, because I had acted ignorantly, not having as yet believed;
B. Sins of Infirmity.
1. a physical weakness or ailment: the infirmities of age.
2. quality or state of being infirm; lack of strength.
3. a moral weakness or failing. Dictionary .com
Psa 19:12 Who can notice every mistake? Forgive my hidden faults. GW
Psa 103:10 He has not treated us as we deserve for our sins or paid us back for our wrongs.
Psa 103:14 He certainly knows what we are made of. He bears in mind that we are dust.
Rom 14:23 But if a person has doubts and still eats, he is condemned because he didn't act in faith. Anything that is not done in faith is sin.
Rom 15:1 So those of us who have a strong faith must be patient with the weaknesses of those whose faithis not so strong. We must not think only of ourselves. GW
C. Sins of Carelessness. not using care : not careful. : done, made, or said without enough thought or attention.
Psa 39:1 For the choir director; for Jeduthun; a psalm by David. I said, "I will watch my ways so that I do not sin with my tongue. I will bridle my mouth while wicked people are in my presence."
Deu 11:16 Be careful, or you'll be tempted to turn away and worship other gods and bow down to them.
1Co 8:9 But be careful that by using your freedom you don't somehow make a believer who is weak in faith fall into sin.
D. Sins of Presumption. a belief that something is true even though it has not been proved.
Psa 19:13 and keep Your servant back from presumptuous sins; do not let them rule over me; then I shall be upright, and I shall be innocent of great transgression.
From presumptuous sins - The word used here is manifestly designed to stand in some respects in contrast with the secret faults mentioned in the previous verse. The word - זד zêd - means properly that which is boiling, swelling, inflated; then proud, arrogant; with the accessory notion of shameless wickedness or impiety. Gesenius, Lexicon. The word is rendered proud in Psa_86:14; Psa_119:21, Psa_119:51, Psa_119:69, Psa_119:78, Psa_119:85,Psa_119:122; Pro_21:24; Isa_13:11; Jer_43:2; Mal_3:15; Mal_4:1. It does not occur elsewhere. The prevailing thought is that of pride, and the reference is particularly to sins which proceed from self-confidence; from reliance on one’s own strength. The word does not mean open sins, or flagrant sins, so much as those which spring from self-reliance or pride. The prayer is substantially that he might have a proper distrust of himself, and might not be left by an improper reliance on his own power to the commission of sin. This also is said in view of the extent and spirituality of the law of God - expressing the earnest desire of the author of the psalm that he might not be left to violate a law so pure and holy.Barnes
2Pe 2:10 and especially those who walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise dominion. They are darers, self-pleasing; not trembling at glories, speaking evil.
Rom 1:32 who, knowing the righteous order of God, that those practicing such things are worthy of death, not only do them, but have pleasure in those practicing them.
E. The Unpardonable sin.
Mat 12:31 Therefore I say to you, All kinds of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven to men, but the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven to men.
Mat 12:32 And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him. But whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this world or in the world to come.
But the blasphemy against the Spirit (hē de tou pneumatos blasphēmia). Objective genitive. This is the unpardonable sin. In Mat_12:32 we have kata tou pneumatos tou hagiou to make it plainer. What is the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit? These Pharisees had already committed it. They had attributed the works of the Holy Spirit by whose power Jesus wrought his miracles (Mat_12:28) to the devil. That sin was without excuse and would not be forgiven in their age or in the coming one (Mat_12:32). People often ask if they can commit the unpardonable sin. Probably some do who ridicule the manifest work of God’s Spirit in men’s lives and attribute the Spirit’s work to the devil.RWP
Rom 1:32 who, knowing the righteous order of God, that those practicing such things are worthy of death, not only do them, but have pleasure in those practicing them.
F. The Sin unto DEATH.
1Co 11:29 For he who eats and drinks unworthily eats and drinks condemnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
1Co 11:30 For this cause many among you are weak and sickly, and many sleep.
Let a man examine himself, etc. To see whether he can eat in loving remembrance of the death of Christ.
Eateth . . . unworthily. With light, worldly thoughts, as though eating common food. That this is a sin is shown in 1Co_11:27. Here it is added, "he eateth and drinketh damnation;" that is, subjects himself to condemnation.
Not discerning the Lord's body. Not distinguishing it, keeping in mind that these are memorials.
For this cause many are weak, etc. Some have held that this means that the improper observance of the supper has made many weak and sickly Christians, and some had even died spiritually. Others hold that physical judgments had been sent, and some sickened and others died. The last view is most generally held.
1Jn 5:16 If anyone sees his brother sin a sin not to death, he shall ask, and He shall give him life for those that do not sin to death. There is a sin to death, I do not say that he shall pray for it.
1Jn 5:17 All unrighteousness is sin, and there is a sin not to death.
1Jn 5:18 We know that everyone who has been born of God does not continue to sin, but the one born of God guards himself, and the evil one does not touch him.
If a man see his brother sin. Then a brother in Christ can be overtaken by sin.
Not unto death. There is a sin not unto death, and one unto death. The sin described in Heb_6:4-6 is evidently unto death; that described in Gal_6:1 is one not unto death. In the latter case the sinners can be restored, and we may pray for them with the assurance that they will be. This implies both work and prayer.
All unrighteousness. All wrong-doing is sin, but the condition of soul that sets it against righteousness and against Christ as steel is a sin unto death. Such a soul repels Christ the life.
PNTConclusion:Have you attributed the work of the Spirit of God to the devil????
If you think that you have committed the unpardonable sin you probably haven’t.
